As a certified yoga instructor it is my duty to teach people of all shapes, sizes and sorts to open their minds to a new type of exercise. Denoted most commonly as the "hippie" exercise, yoga has it's fair share in the "category" game, but really, if you're looking to strengthen your body, mind and soul, try and look into it. I promise you won't be sorry. I've been a yoga teacher for 4 and a half years now. At a point in my life, when I felt weak and things didn't seem promising, I turned to yoga and exercise in general to get my mind out of whatever negativity it was cluttered in. Yoga has helped teach me patience, virtue, and I've grown to want to spread my knowledge of it, onto people who feel they may need something new and different.

Yoga as we know it refers to traditional physical and mental disciplines originating in India. There are major types of yoga, all of which are great ways to explore routine and technique in the category. Major branches of yoga include Raja Yoga, Karma Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Vinyasa, and Hatha Yoga. The technique I teach is Vinyasa yoga. This type of yoga is fast and fluid movements resulting in alignment of the spine, control, and stamina. It's my favorite because it doesn't seem like one is holding a completely unneccessary position for hours at a time, which can sometimes lead to pulled muscles in people that can't handle it. Remember, yoga affects everyone differently. It may be for some, may not be for others. But if you're looking for a routine you can trust without injuring yourself, and something you can do in the comfort of your own home without exploring too deeply into local gyms or paying up the wazoo for lessons, I'll be featuring videos on the site.

The Sanskrit word yoga has many meanings and is derived from the Sanskrit root yuj, meaning to control or unite. Translations include joining, uniting, union, conjunction. This is what I hope I can help people do within the community of life here on the lifeundersun.com website. I'd like to unite people by providing them with a service that has greatly improved my stamina, mental health and physique, without pushing anyone into doing something they feel ashamed of doing publically. Let's face it, we've all felt that way working out.. am I right?

I hope this helps with anyone trying to explore Vinyasa yoga, and will be posting new routines, videos, and more information on meditation, one of the most sacred benefits in my teachings.

Thank you all for reading, can't wait to post more! Feedback appreciated!

Nice post Jess. I completely agree about yoga being empowering both physically and mentally. Hope things are good. Lets all chill soon, Martin

Sounds good to me babe! Im glad you enjoyed the post. Many more to come, we all just need to find a way to be able to coordinate multiple video posts on one profile without deleting the next... because if there are multiple videos, multiple views come, more comments, more knowledge. so on and so forth.
Lets talk about this more soon! xoxox

I agree, were working on that now. I like what your saying about more videos equalling more interaction. Also photos in comments will happen soon. thanks for the wisdom
